I'm feeling a little overwhelmed now, we've got several projects in the works at the same time. We made one new website and put it on one of the new domains. I wanted to list new sites with AdultBouncer.com, but I can't seem to get straight answers out of those people for the site requirements. I've started visiting the other AVS's and printing out their requirements, all different in regard to popups, advertising, upselling, etc. All different in their payout programs, too.
I got code for a delayed popup working. It pops up whatever I want five minutes after someone hits the page with the code on it, even if they've closed that browser window or moved on to other pages in the meantime. I think it will be a useful addition to my advertising arsenal, but I haven't figured out what to use it for yet.
I signed up with a new affiliate program that advertises free adult ezines - all you need to do for access is give them a verifiable email address. They'll pay me $1.00 for each email address they get from the traffic I send them. I spent many hours yesterday making 22 partial pages (1 for each niche they have ezines for). We'll insert those partial pages into regular pages using server side includes (whatever partial page is related to the niche of the website where they're being served. I don't want to advertise them on any of my membership sites, though. The problem is that if anyone looks at their deal and decides not to give their email address, they pop up half a dozen windows when they try to exit. By the time the visitor shuts all those windows down, they've probably shut down their main browser window too, and I've lost the visitor from my website. I don't want to lose potential sales that way, so I think we'll just advertise them on my free sites.
I had so much on my mind last night after a really hard day of work, that I couldn't fall asleep. After an hour, I gave up the attempt and came back downstairs to work until 5:30am. Then I fell asleep for three hours on the couch. I felt pretty lousy today and haven't gotten much done. I had the slave give me a nice bath and that got rid of my headache, at least. We watched "Fatal Attraction" at dinner tonight. I hadn't seen it before. Now that I have, it disturbs me a little that women in general seem to like that movie so much.
