12/18/2002 Archived Entry: "My Day" I got up at 7:00am as usual, when the first alarm went off. I checked online and found that the schools here were closed due to an ice storm, so I shut off the slave's alarm clocks and let her sleep in. I spent most of the day getting signed up with AVS services and getting the login scripts for the new site. What a chore. How do those other webmasters make 10 or 20 sites/day and get them submitted? They must just be making templated sites for one AVS. Doing things my way is taking several days, but I want the broader traffic base. It'll go a little quicker in the future, too, since I'll already have accounts with those AVS's. The slave spent the day working on that search engine script. She's making amazing progress. I decided to go ahead and write to the place that I want to pull my secondary search results from, to see if they will let me, and will give me the info I need to set that up. I have a suspicion that I am going to need to have some custom programming done to make it happen. The slave has been pretty weird the past couple of days. I'm pretty sure that she needs to spend some time in the dungeon real soon, but it's all cluttered up with Christmas stuff right now...
