09/25/2004 Archived Entry: "What Exactly IS an Adult Check Membership? What Do You Get?"
If you've ever clicked on any of my links to new adult galleries, you've noticed that they all require an Adult Check password to gain entry to the members areas. I was asked by one of my readers to explain how that whole thing works. So here goes, to the best of my ability:
About a year ago, Adult Check selected 100 of the top adult webmasters in the world to create galleries for them on a regular basis (daily). Adult Check sells a membership that gives you access to all of those galleries. There are something like 400,000 of them, and scores of new galleries are added every day, so one password will keep you supplied with new porn forever. Such a deal.
There are two kinds of Adult Check memberships. A Gold membership gives you access to all the big galleries, those containing between 500 and 100,000 pictures and/or movies. Gold memberships rebill monthly until you cancel your membership by calling customer service, or emailing them. A Regular membership gives you access to all the smaller galleries, most of which contain between 30 and 60 pictures. Regular memberships rebill every 90 days. You can also buy a combo membership for access to both the large and the small galleries. When you buy your membership, Adult Check emails you your password, and that password is good on all of the galleries created by all of the webmasters (Gold, or Regular, or both, depending on the type of password you buy). All of the galleries are clean, no popups or tricky stuff.
Whenever one of you buys an Adult Check membership at one of the new galleries I feature each day, I get paid a commission on the sale. That's how I support this blog and justify the time I spend posting entries.
